Staff and guests honour Dr. Jahidul Islam and ANM Shibani Chakraborty for their service
A farewell reception was held at the Lala Community Health Centre (CHC) to honour Dr. Jahidul Islam and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) Shibani Chakraborty on the occasion of their retirement/transfer.
Organised by the officers and staff of the CHC, the programme saw colleagues and invited guests pay tribute to both healthcare workers for their dedication and contributions. Speakers recalled Dr. Jahidul Islam’s long years of service in the Lala area and said he was known for treating patients with sincerity and compassion.
Addressing those present, Dr. Islam thanked everyone, expressed gratitude for the cooperation he received during his service, and sought blessings for the future. ANM Shibani Chakraborty was also felicitated, with attendees appreciating her work and role in delivering health services.
The event concluded with the presentation of mementos/gifts to Dr. Islam and Shibani Chakraborty, followed by a warm farewell from the CHC staff.
