Zilla Parishad Member Launches Three Community Infrastructure Projects in Ramchandi-Nimaichandpur

Foundation stones laid for boundary walls at local graveyards and an Idgah under the 15th Finance Commission.

Signaling a push for grassroots infrastructure development, Zilla Parishad member Dilwar Hussain Barbhuiya formally laid the foundation stones for three key community projects on Friday. The works, sanctioned for the 2024-25 financial year, are funded entirely by the Ramchandi-Nimaichandpur Zilla Parishad’s allocation from the Fifteenth Finance Commission.

The primary focus of the new initiatives is securing local religious and community grounds. The largest allocation, amounting to Rs. 5 lakh, has been earmarked to build a boundary wall around a public graveyard situated on the banks of the Saraswati Nala, near the residence of Bilal Uddin in South Jhapirband Part II village.

In the same village, another Rs. 3,37,500 will be utilized to construct a boundary wall for the Muhammadiya Public Idgah. Meanwhile, the third project involves a Rs. 3 lakh investment to secure a separate public graveyard located adjacent to the home of Abul Hussain in Jalalpur village.

The foundation-laying ceremonies drew significant attendance from local residents and officials of the Idgah committee. Addressing the gatherings, Barbhuiya issued a strong appeal for public assistance and cooperation. He stressed that active community participation is essential to accelerate regional development in the coming days, pledging to execute all future Zilla Parishad initiatives with absolute transparency, impartiality, and honesty.
