The Inspector of Schools, Hailakandi, has ordered the resumption of classes in all types of educational institutions in Damchara under the Gharmura Range of South Hailakandi from February 7 (Saturday).
Previously, in view of the Forest Department’s eviction drive in Damchara, all educational institutions in the area—ranging from LP (Lower Primary) schools to colleges—were asked to remain closed from February 3 in the interest of the safety of the students.
Consequently, educational institutions under the Damchara Cluster, Jamira Second Cluster, and Gharmura Hill Second Cluster will resume normal functioning as per the academic calendar starting this Saturday.
