Prohibitory Orders Enforced Around Hailakandi Exam Centers Ahead of HS and Madhyamik Boards

With the Higher Secondary and Madhyamik examinations set to commence on February 10, the district administration in Hailakandi has implemented strict security measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the tests.

In a move to maintain order and preventing any malpractice, the Additional District Magistrate has issued prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. These restrictions effectively ban the entry of the general public within a 100-meter radius of all examination venues.

Scope of Restrictions
The prohibitory orders will remain effective on all scheduled examination days between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM. During these hours, access to the restricted zones will be strictly limited to examinees, on-duty police personnel, and officials directly authorized to manage the examination process.

The administration has issued a stern warning regarding compliance, stating that any violation of these directives will attract legal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Logistical Scale
The security protocols cover a significant number of venues across the district. Authorities noted that the Higher Secondary examinations will be conducted across 16 centers, while 22 centers have been designated for the Madhyamik examinations.
