Chengbil Kidney Patient Receives Rs 25,000 Aid from CM Relief Fund

Local administration officials personally deliver the financial assistance cheque to support ongoing medical expenses.

Providing critical support to a resident battling chronic illness, the state government has sanctioned Rs 25,000 from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for a kidney patient in the Chengbil area of Lala.

The financial aid is directed toward Amar Kumar Singha, a local from Chengbil village who has been undergoing prolonged medical treatment for kidney disease. Recognizing the financial burden of his ongoing healthcare needs, the relief fund approved the amount specifically to help offset his mounting medical expenses.

To ensure the prompt and personal delivery of the funds, local authorities visited Singha’s residence on Saturday. Lala Circle Officer Siddhartha Sonowal, accompanied by Circle Office Field Officer M.H. Hasan, formally handed over the cheque to the ailing patient. During the visit, the officials interacted with Singha and conveyed their best wishes for his swift recovery.

In response to the government’s intervention, Singha’s family members extended their heartfelt gratitude to both the Chief Minister and the district administration for stepping in to provide timely financial relief during a difficult period.
